  • When requesting quotations we will usually ask you for your Address, email and/or phone number
  • Your IP address is automatically collected when you purchase an item through our website
  • When you correspond with us over the phone we may ask you if necessary for you Full name and/or Business Name and your contact information (email/telephone).
  • If we ever carry out customer surveys, to help us provide our customers with improved services we may ask you for your name, email and/or telephone. In regards to customer surveys you are not obligated to give your contact information if you do not wish to be contacted.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T WANT TO SHARE MY DETAILS

  • You will not be able to place any orders through our website as this requires certain information to be entered (this is highlighted in the above section in more detail)
  • We will not be able to send you the quotation you have requested.

WHEN & WHY WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. However, there may be times we will need to share your information:

  • Certain employees will need access to this information in order to process your order or deal with any complaints you may have regarding the products we sell and/or our services.
  • Relevant third parties to administer insurance claims
  • Our Couriers will need your Address and sometime your contact information to deliver the items you have purchased. The couriers we currently share your information with are Parcelforce, DPD, Royal Mail and Matthews Transport. You will be told on your despatch email which courier we have used. We advise that you read their privacy terms so that you are aware with how they may store your details. We do not share more that what is needed to these parties.
  • We only ever share your name with our suppliers which we use as a reference when ordering the item you need from them. No other information is given.

HOW WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION

All information you provide is stored securely electronically and only authorised employees have access to this information. We can keep your details for up to 2 years before it is destroyed. Any information that is kept longer than this is due to legal obligations requiring data to be kept for certain periods of time or potential disputes that may arise. As stated above, you have a right to contact us to request we delete any information we may hold on you.

SECURITY

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.  Your card details are sent through the payment processing provider and no card data is saved or visible to staff.
