Founded by two brothers; Abdul Samad and Mohammad Munir, Leigh Plumbing originally began life as a small family business on Vernon Street in Leigh. With only limited funds to invest, the founders showed what hard work and dedication could achieve. Beginning with only 3 bathroom displays and limited supplies Leigh Plumbing with the support of its customers began to expand.
Steadily as the business expanded Leigh Plumbing invested in redeveloping the building to include a variety of bathroom and shower displays and shortly after introduced another floor of bathroom displays, this introduced brands such as Jacuzzi, Hansgrohe and Villeroy & Boch to the town of Leigh.
Keen to continue expanding the founders of Leigh Plumbing were fortunate when the site which once housed the school of one of the founders (and former site of Bedford Wesleyan Church) became available. With the support of good friends, customers, councillors and the Mayor of Leigh (Brian Jarvis), Leigh Plumbing began developing its new showroom.
After years of hard work and commitment Leigh Plumbing completed its new site and officially opened in 2010.
